My Favorite Eating Place in Pahang
We usually have our own favorite eating place, stall or restaurant, cafe or bistro in town or at the places we usually travel to, right? It is our own favourite corner, where we can tuck in and relish our food in private or with family or selected friends, with the knowledge that the food’s really great, and most times comparatively cheap as well!
My Favourite Cendol and ABC (Air Batu Campur) Stall in Pahang For instance, my own favorite eating place in Kuantan for cendol and ABC (air batu campur) or iced kacang, is the famous and popular Mustafa Cendol stall located at Jalan Teluk Sisek, on the right side of the road on the way to Teluk Chempedak. That stall with its stainless-steel bowls for the iced kacang or cendol, had been in existence since I was young, and had been awarded a clean stall certification by the Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan (MPK) for so many years. I usually go there when the weather’s terribly hot, to get my thirst quenched with a bowl of finely-grated ice with cendol, red beans, peas, corn and jelly mixed with brown sugar and red sugar liquid. And the rojak dishes sold there are delicious too, and I usually buy some rojak ayam (rojak with chicken pieces) to take back and share with family members at home.
What’s YOUR Favorite Eat-Out Spot? Yes, I would like to know what’s YOUR favourite eating place in the state of Pahang? Whether it's in Kuala Lipis, Jerantut or Rompin, Bentong or Maran, or in the kampong (villages) or town anywhere in Pahang. Maybe it is your favourite eatery because of the special taste of the food or drink (best teh tarik, or rojak, for instance), or perhaps for its unique ambiance (nice music with waterfalls) or maybe the food comes with a fast and friendly service. Or it could be that it’s your favourite eating place to savor the best puding raja or nasi kebuli, those traditional Pahang dishes, or the best western beef pepper steak or Chinese style chicken chop in town? Or it’s a place where the chef or cook is so particular about the taste and flavour of the dish that he almost always asks his customers for feedbacks? He would ask you, "Is it too sweet, or salty, or just nice?" But most times, you know it’s just delicious!
So RAVE and tell us about your favourite eating corner! And if it connects with others surfing here, they may want to try out your favorite food there! So don’t forget to include the name of the eatery, address or its general location and the town. And of course tell something about the delectable yummies the place dishes out. And if you have, show a photo of the place, or the owner, chef, or anything about the place, because a picture really paints a thousand words. Tell us your story, and you can be sure that others will really appreciate you for sharing.
