Pengalaman Indah di Kg Taman Sedia

Kunjungan kedua ke C.Highland selepas kunjungan pertama dua tahun lepas.Mcm sebelumnya tanpa perancangan awal memandangkan budget untuk keperluan sekolah anak2 perlu disempurnakan terlebih dahulu.Setelah membuat sedikit research di internet kami mula mencari tempat penginapan yang bersesuaian dgn kami yang diiringi empat anak yang sedang meningkat remaja.Akhirnya kami berjaya membuat tempahan di Marina Chalet.

Pun begitu saya ada terbaca beberapa komen yang kurang enak pengunjung yang pernah menginap di Marina Chalet.Hati terdetik sedikit resah namun perjalanan diteruskan juga menuju ke Kg Taman Sedia.

Berbagai persoalan bermain di kepala namun hati sentiasa memikirkan yang positif lantaran tidak mahu keseronokan anak2 bercuti terganggu.
Sebaik sampai yang pertama terbisik di hati ialah...bersihnya chalet ni...

Sudah tentu tidak adil seandainya membandingkan chalet ini dengan hotel lima bintang atau apartment mewah.Namun saya berasa tenang dan tenteram di sini dengan persekitaran yang indah dan mendamaikan.

Pemilik chalet walaupun sudah berusia 77 tahun masih cergas dan tidak lokek bercerita tentang sejarah asal usul kampung ini.Rupa2nya beliau adalah bekas penghulu pertama di Cameron Highland.

Puan Marina,isteri beliau walaupun bertubuh kecil namun besemangat waja dan sangat cergas pada usia emasnya.Beliaulah penggerak utama kejayaan Marina Chalet.Mengenali Puan Marina,bicaranya agak tegas namun penuh dengan keikhlasan membuatkan kami berasa seperti berada di tempat sendiri,bukan sebagai pengunjung.

Kepada anda yang mahukan pengalaman yang berlainan daripada biasa di Cameron Highland,percayalah kunjungan anda ke kampung ini tidak akan mengecewakan.

Saya pasti anda akan teringin untuk mengulanginya lagi seperti saya seisi keluarga.Seperti kata anak bungsu saya yang tidak puas bermain dan berlari di persekitaran chalet;Adik rindulah kat homestay tu...

Superb Relaxation

Bravo! Value for money! Yeah...it's not a 6 Stars accommodation. But.. its a 5 Stars for my pocket.

What my family think.....

My love one, my wife....no comment but she smiles all the way. Reason...don't have to walk far like the trip before. Its just a door step away from the parking lot. Let me count....10 steps...err..maybe 15. Oh! No more Brinchang Hotel. Hate it! Where to park?? Haiyo!!???

My 2 little princess ....don't even know where they went. They went for a walk and came back with strawberries and ice-cream. Later...missing again and came back with lots of souvenirs. Cool...no headache to drive them around. Safety.....what? Its a kampong lah! What I heard..on the way back to Johor...."Next Year we go again, okay Pa?"

My Sons...the 3 devilish cupids....also have no comment. As far as I notice...they are at the playground most of the time. No iron bars/grill to lock them up like the life in condo.

For me...a town guy...what else I need...the peacefulness, the greeneries, the weather, free flow tea and a nice surrounding.

About the kampung.....of coz......its a kampung. What else do I expect....a luxury accomodation????
No way!!!!

I'll be back....we'll be back for sure.

Don't Agree on the statement......
Among the best I've seen for a "Kampung".
Its not the best...of course..but its among the best.
There's differentiation kalau compare to other kampung.
Al-maklum...kampung Melayu atas bukit.
For sure...its not the same.
This is not kampung kat Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka etc....its a Kampung in Cameron Highlands.

Memang Best

Kampung Melayu!? Nama aje kampung tapi ianya lain dari yang lain. Malam hari...kampung ni macam ada pesta aje. Ianya kampung pesta lampu yang berwarna warni...cukup indah.Rasanya ini antara kampung yang agak cantik yang pernah saya sampai.
Kalau ikut logik...rasanya inilah kampung Melayu yang tertinggi di Malaysia. Ianya terletak..seperti..di sebuah lembah di pergunungan. Terdapat berbagai tarikan seperti kebun2 strawberi, kilang strawberi, kebun2 sayur, industri kecil, gerai makan, surau dan berhampiran dengan air terjun dan padang golf. Ada trek "jungle trecking" pulak tu dan yang jarang pelancung tahu...ada terdapat kawasan perkhemahan tepi sungai yang sungguh bersih airnya..terletak di kawasan pejabat perhutanan.
Tentang Marina Chalet....ianya antara chalet2 homestay yang dikenali di Pahang. Marina Chalet adalah chalet homestay yang terbesar dan mungkin ia adalah pengasas homestay di Cameron Highlands.
Mungkin namanya homestay tapi lebih kepada chalet concept. Better dari hotel2 3 bintang kerana atmospherenya dan ketenangan jauh dari kesibukkan.
Rasanya....elok lihat sendiri kerana ini adalah pendapat sayan sahaja. Isteri saya dan anak2 saya sangat gembira menginap di Marina Chalet.
Sebabnya...saya bayar lebih untuk disiapkan "barbeque" utk makan malam beramai2.Best...dlm kesejukan..dapat makan panas2.

Hmmmmm... tak perlu kata apa2 kecuali...kepada sesiapa yang hendak pergi ke Cameron Highlands...pastikan anda pergi sendiri ke Kampung Taman Sedia.

Kalau pepatah kata.."Selalunya Indah Khabar dari Rupa"....pepatah ini tidak kena pada pemerhatian lawatan saya dan keluarga saya ke sana.

Ais Krim...Memang best dan Marina Chalet...ia bukan 5 Star tapi amat berbaloi utk Budget dan Family stay

THE best strawberry ice-cream this side of the world

Yes, a visit to KHM Strawberry farm within Taman Sedia is a MUST!!!! Of course you must try the home-made ice-cream. Served with a dash of home-made stawberry sauce. Slurrppp... to die for, I must say.

I was sceptical when I was first brought to the place. But now I am hooked. My husband thinks the world of it too, when I recently introduced him to it. Now, we are planning a visit during the school holidays so that the kids can get a taste of the ice-cream too(it is actually us who are missing the ice-cream)!

I hope you will enjoy the ice-cream too!
