With the brand name "SimplySiti", Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Malaysia's number one songstress, moved a step up further as a businesswoman when she created and launched her own line of cosmetics and skin-care products.
Her cosmetics range includes lipsticks, eyeshadows, facial creams and other beauty and skin-care products and make-ups for women. What is interesting is that her range of lipsticks are individually named after the titles of her many popular songs.
On 8th to 11th April, 2010 the promotion and sale of her own brand of cosmetics was held at one of Kuantan's popular shopping malls, Kuantan Parade.
And on the final day of the promotions, Datuk Siti, who came with hubby Datuk Mohd Khalid, was there onstage to conduct and personally present prizes for lucky draws to patrons who had earlier bought and used the beauty and skin-care products.
Of course, she delighted the big crowd when she came, went onstage and sang one of her popular songs, Biarlah Rahsia, (Let it be a Secret) which is the theme for the new cosmetics brand.
Her products are tagged as her own personal secrets for looking beautiful, charming and feminine.
About two thousand shoppers and Kuantan fans at the shopping mall were lucky to be there to see their idol in person.
Well, looking at the brisk sales in Kuantan, her range of SimplySiti cosmetic products will surely be attractive and popular not only to her fans but other ladies who wish to look beautiful and adorable.
And her products are sold not only in Malaysia but to other neighbouring countries like Singapore and Indonesia where she is also a popular singer and Malaysia's most well-known artiste.
