In this webpage, I invite pictures or photos of you, my valued guests, in your traditional costume. You may be from Pahang or other states of Malaysia (East and West) or any other country. Read what other visitors have written here. In previous web-pages we have learnt about the Malay costumes in Pahang, like the Baju Kurung, Baju Melayu, tanjak and tengkolok, and the sampin.
Picture of You To Show OffSo, do you have a picture of you wearing your traditional wear? Or a picture of you wearing any other popular costumes, like the Chinese cheongsam, samfu, Indian saree, and others. Or a picture of your own country’s national costumes that you would like to share? Anyone out there with a picture wearing the kimono (Japanese), or the Scottish kilt or skirt? Just so that we can see the spectacular varieties and beauty of costumes the world over. This page is for you, my valued guests, to send a photo (of you, friend(s) or your whole family ) wearing your traditional costumes.
Write Your Special StoryAnd of course, in about 200 words, tell us more about them, its name, style or fashion, maybe the fabrics it is made from, the accessories, the occasion when it is worn (like weddings or festivals), why you love wearing them, and perhaps whether you wear them nearly everyday? Share your story and photo for your friends and family wherever they are. I’m sure other visitors to this Pahang-Delights web-page will thank you for the educational and cultural facts they will learn from the photo.
